Formerly known as Albatross 18, the casual online golfing game has been re-tooled and re-launched for North America under its new title, Pangya. Publisher and developer Ntreev USA has announced that the game has a new website and is currently in open beta.

There are 14 locations that can be played on and 8 characters to choose from. Like any typical MMO out there, Pangya offers gamers tons of accessorial and character customization options to help improve their golfer. Persistent and upgradeable stats will give expert players an edge during a bout yet at the same time the pick-up-and-play mechanic will offer easy-to-enjoy fun for most casual gamers.

Pangya is currently free-to-play with many cash-shop premium items for players who don’t mind spending a little extra cash to gain an advantage on the competition. It’s like paying to cheat without being called a cheater for it. Wonderful.
