Legendo Entertainment recently announced that a trilogy of Pearl Harbor games are heading to the WiiWare platform. The Swedish, independent publishing company let the news fly loose that the series is currently in development and flight-sim fans will definitely want to keep their eyes peeled for the upcoming episodic content.

According to Bjorn Larsson, Executive Producer at Legendo Entertainment, he commented in the press release that…

The Wii Remote controller is a perfect match for aerial combat – we are currently trying a variety of control-schemes to see what works best, we want to bring players as close as possible to flying in their living rooms.”

The first episode will see players manning the P-40 Warhawk for the USAAF during World War II called “Red Sun Rising”. The theatre will include missions from Pearl Harbor, Wake Island and the Battle of Midway.
