The duo behind the popular web comic Penny Arcade has teamed up with BioWare to create a new webcomic based on Dragon Age: Origins. The first part of the series is now online.

The comic has an all-new storyline centered on a group of knights that go hunting for witches. There's eight parts in all and you can access them here. A new installment will be released each week.

Dragon Age: Origins will hit the PC and Xbox 360 on November 3rd in North America and November 6th in Europe. The PS3 version still doesn't have a firm date but is expected in November. If you're keen on Penny Arcade's forays into video game tie-ins, check out their Fallout 3 webcomic.
