Natsume’s real-to-life alternative to Pokemon Snap for the PS3 is now available Stateside. North American gamers can pick up the wildlife, safari trekking game for the not-quite hefty price of $49.99.

According to the press release, Hiro Maekawa, President and CEO of Natsume commented saying …

“We are very excited about Afrika's release today. We know many PlayStation®3 owners out there have been itching to get their hands on the game," ... “It was a real pleasure to work with Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios in bringing this title to North America.”

The game features a 3D simulated eco-system of more than 70 wildlife animals roaming the planes of Africa. Each animal behaves accordingly and it’s up to players to trudge through the landscape and snap the perfect photographs. The goal of the game? Land a photo on National Geographic, of course.
