Mythic Entertainment announced today that they're launching a "Return to Britannia" campaign to pull former Ultima Online players back into the game. For a limited time, they'll be able to play the game for free.

All closed player accounts in good standing have now been reactivated. Using your old user name and password, you'll be able to log into the game and play for free until October 16th. If you don't remember your user name and password, you can retrieve it at support.ea.com. New players have the option of a two-week trial.

UO celebrated its twelfth anniversary on September 25th. The eighth expansion to the MMORPG, Stygian Abyss, was released earlier this month.
