Eiconic Games sent out word today that their new casual, arcade-puzzler, Polar Panic, will be released soon for XBLA and PSN. It’s probably one of those games that Bomberman fans will want to check out, and not the Bomberman Zero fans…that’s assuming BM Zero had fans.

Graeme Monk, Managing Director of Eiconic Games commented in the press release, saying…

“This is a really exciting time for us and Polar Panic shows what the indie development community is capable of. Polar Panic combines classic casual gameplay with the audio-visual experience you expect of modern consoles and PCs. Polar Panic features a multitude of gameplay fun; classic arcade action, fiendish puzzles and the most frantic local multiplayer mode you have ever seen!”

It’s another wallet busting deal for casual gamers looking for a decent Bomberman clone without it being Bomberman. The game sports some colorful graphics and kid-friendly colors with simplistic enough fun (presumably) for the whole family.
