There are way too many good games coming out in the last months of 2008 and Ubisoft is going an extra step to make Prince of Persia stick out amongst the pre-holiday crowd. If you pre-order the game, they're going to give you the Limited Edition for free.
Here's what the Limited Edition will include (hat tip to PS3 Fanboy):
Collectable Limited Edition packaging
An exclusive look at the making of Prince of Persia
A Prima digital mini-strategy guide full of developer's secrets
A digital art book
The original soundtrack scored by master composer Inon Zur
All in all, pretty standard fare. It probably would've cost you an extra ten bucks or so to get this Limited Edition bundle without this special deal so in some twisted way, you'll end up feeling like you saved money by pre-ordering a $60 game. Until I hear otherwise, I assume this offer is in effect for all retailers. No release date has been announced for Prince of Persia yet but the estimate by online retailers is November 18th so expect it then-ish. It'll be available for PC, Xbox 360, and PS3.
