Too Human Finally Gets A Release Date, Loses Offline Coop

By Steve West: 2008-05-13 19:01:28

Too Human Finally Gets A Release Date, Loses Offline Coop If you’re looking forward to Too Human at all, and you really should be, then today is a see-saw of emotions. One the one hand we finally have a release date: August 19 in US, and August 29 in Europe. But then as we’re gazing at the latest screenshots, showing off coop gameplay (yay!), we hear troubling word that some of the modes have been trimmed.

Rather than getting access to coop whenever you want, Too Human will only offer the mode online. Just as – if not moreso – disappointing is word that 4-player coop is being cut from the final game. After a decade of development hell it’s just a miracle we’re getting the game at all.

For now you can take a gander at the latest screenshots from Too Human in the gallery below.

Damn, I was quite looking forward to this game, but it looks really co-op heavy - if I can't play offline I'm screwed as my internet connection is pretty shakey.
