Prince of Persia has an early December release in hopes of soaking up holiday sales but Ubisoft has plans for the game beyond December. They're considering releasing "significant" downloadable content for the game - and they're not talking about horse armor, either.

"We certainly have plans for downloadable content, [but] we can’t really say more than that right now," Ubisoft producer Ben Mattes said in a video interview with Gamersyde. “The intention is to do downloadable content that adds significant value, so I don’t think you’ll see downloadable content of a new skin or a new weapon or something like that. If we’re going to do it, it’s going to be a new story, a new experience, maybe a prequel, maybe a sequel - we’re going to do something that really offers a lot of value for the player."

Mattes wasn't really sure when they'd release something like this. They're probably going to wait and see how the game sells this holiday season. It's due on Xbox 360 and PS3 on December 2nd and will hit the PC on December 9th.
