If you thought the Metroid Prime Corruption video kicked butt, you’re going to soil several pairs of underwear when you check out the new Prince of Persia Rival Swords trailer for the Wii. For everyone who thought the Wii was a “kid’s toy”, you’re in for a big surprise when you take a look at this next-gen title.
Prince of Persia has been kicking butt and taking names ever since its re-emergence on the PS2 and Xbox. The Prince is now making his way to the Wii and it’s in no small way, I must say. The Wii-mote and Nunchuck play a huge role in everything the Prince does in the game. From wall hopping to stealthy death-strikes, the freedom of control has almost no limits in the way players interact and direct the Prince.
Ubisoft seems to be working hard to rid the Wii of the stigma that it’s nothing more than “child’s play”, and the Prince of Persia Rival Swords is a perfect example of that. Below is a trailer that showcases exactly how you use the Wii-mote and Nunchuck and carry out some of the radical moves and abilities of the Prince. You can pick up Prince of Persia Rival Swords for the Wii this March.

Yes! Ever since i have heard of the Wii-mote i've been expecting titles like this to come along and really take it beyond a simple novelty toy. Now somebody go tell LucasArts to get off their butts and start making use of it too!
