You knew it was coming, and now here it is: Ubisoft is releasing a downloadable episode for Prince of Persia and we've got details and a release date.

The so-called "Epilogue" DLC will be available on PS3 and Xbox 360 on February 26th. It continues the storyline from the retail game but you don't actually need to have completed the game to access it. According to IGN's interview with associate producer Jamal Rguigui, the new episode will be set in an underground palace. Elika and Prince will each have a new ability - which they'll need, because the episode will have a higher difficulty than the base game and adds a deadly new foe called the Shapeshifter. The new episode will add new Achievements/Trophies, too (woot).
