R.U.S.E. was delayed from June to September in order to polish up many of the features. There's another upside to the delay, though: it gives developer Eugen Systems time to add PlayStation Move support.
Eurogamer reports that the game's Move functionality on show at a recent event in London. Using the Move controller, players can flip through menus, select units, and pan the camera around. In other words, we're getting closer to a future where real-time strategy games are less cumbersome on the console. Despite the Move support, R.U.S.E. producer Mathieu Girard says that a keyboard and mouse is still the "most efficient" control scheme. R.U.S.E. will hit the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC in late September. |
