The latest RAGE news is going to make you, well, rage. id Software's post-apocalyptic adventure RAGE will be arriving a month later than expected.
RAGE was previously expected to debut on September 13th in North America. According to the official website, it's now slated for an October 4th release in that territory. The European launch, meanwhile, has been pushed from September 16th to October 7th. The first-person shooter takes place in the near-future. An asteroid has wiped out much of Earth's civilization. The lucky souls who managed to hide in capsules beneath the Earth's surface emerge after years of slumber. What they find is a hostile wasteland ruled by mutants, bandits, and a paramilitary organization known as the Authority. id Software no doubt wants as much time as possible to polish Rage. It's the start of a potential franchise for them and is also the first game to use their id Tech 5 engine.  |
