Rambo: The Video Game New Screenshots Shows Off Rambo's Explosive Bow
You may have read already that Reef Entertainment announced that they will be using authentic audio reels from the Rambo trilogy, getting sound samples from both John Rambo and his mentor Col. Samuel Trautman. To further celebrate the news, Reef sent out two new screenshots of the game.
We finally get to see an actual in-game shot of Rambo but sad to say, the game is a first-person shooter and not a third-person shooter. Still, so long as there are elements of stealth and er, Rambo-tactics involved I think most gamers won't mind the game being another FPS.
I'm kind of excited for this game because for one, it's freaking Rambo! Second of all, it's an authentic Rambo game!
Now, coming off the Xeno-Gate fiasco, I imagine a lot of gamers are probably overly skeptical of this game and I don't hold it against you. We've been burned many times before by licensed games and it's not hard to imagine this game being the same way.
However, I'd love to hold out hope that perhaps the very media assets released for Rambo means that the team is neck-deep in development and treating the license with the utmost respect. Then again, we all thought the same thing with Aliens: Colonial Marines and look how that turned out?
You can check out the new screenshots for the game below or visit the Official Website to learn more about the game. Rambo is set for release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC for later this year.
