This isn’t a rumor that deserves a “let’s wait and see” point of view so much as it’s more like a replacement rumor for PS3 fans hoping for Gears of War or Halo. This news, in fact, is almost as bad as the Metal Gear Solid 4 coming to the Xbox 360. Yes, it really is that bad.

TheGameReviews tackled a rumor by PlayStation Insider about GTA IV’s exclusive DLC coming to the PlayStation 3.

Now I’ll give PS Insider points for saying that the content could be re-released in a retail set for next year (given that the content is supposed to be exclusively available as downloadable content for the Xbox 360), but TGR’s Andrew Groen points out a very obvious flaw with this rumor: Why on Earth would Rockstar tip-off a site no one has heard of regarding some extremely big news for one of gaming’s most popular franchises?
