This year marks the 10th anniversary of PS2 platformer Ratchet and Clank's launch. Insomniac Games will be celebrating this milestone by re-releasing remakes of the first three games in the series.

The Ratchet And Clank Collection includes remastered versions of Ratchet And Clank, Ratchet And Clank: Going Commando, and Ratchet And Clank: Up Your Arsenal. They'll feature 1080p HD visuals and also support stereoscopic 3D. Trophies will also be included, with each game getting its own Platinum Trophy. The competitive online multiplayer from Up Your Arsenal will be part of the package as well.

Europe will receive the Collection on May 16th. North America will have to wait until the fall, though.

"I know it’s a little bit later than the Spring European release, but it’s because we have something very special planned for our North American fans to celebrate the 10th anniversary, and we’ll share all the details very soon," said Insomniac CEO Ted Price on the PlayStation.Blog.

The first screenshots of the remakes are below.
