Evolved Games and SouthPeak have come together to make a very original and dynamic looking RTS-FPS game. To quickly showcase how the game works a new trailer was released. But here’s a fair warning: it contains lots of shooting, explosions and a bad-arse buddy-up handshake.

Raven Squad is an interesting project, insofar that it takes all the great elements of real-time strategy and combat but adds all the intensity and action of a first-person shooter. Hence, if things become overwhelming when plotting out team strategies, simply pick a character go into first-person and start blasting away at the baddies. However, if you need some strategic planning to overcome the odds, zoom out and start putting together a combo of military teamwork to bust a whole in the bad guys’ plans.

The new trailer is a comical video montage of some cool gameplay clips, some hilarious commentary and yes, tons of unnecessary explosions. Ah, just like a good 80’s flick.
