Ever wondered what it would feel like to get a chance to take a rough and tumble ride in a life-sized Warthog? Well, dreams do come true dear fanboys and fangirls, because a life-sized Halo Warthog will be present at the MCM expo this year.
According to Electronic Theatre, a full size Halo M12 Warthog LRV will actually be on display in London between October 24th and the 25th. This particular model is only one of two replicas based on the fictional military four-wheeler and it’s the perfect chance to see what it’s like to be behind the wheel of one of gaming’s most popular off-road vehicles. And according to Electornic Theatre… The M12 ‘Warthog’ LRV is an A-reg 1984 Land Rover Defender 110, rescued from the GumTree 4×4 yard before its eventual scrapping due to MoT failure. Rebuilt by Props Studios, the vehicle has been fitted with an entirely new body and lifted suspension, along with as a heap of other modifications. It’s thought that the vehicle will arrive in London in full working order. If you happen to be in the neighborhood when it arrives try honking the horn and mimicking throwing grenades from the passenger side, you might actually be able to pull off a few good moves before security tackles you down.
