Xbox 360 owners are about to experience the first double XP weekend for Modern Warfare 2. Infinity Ward community manager Robert Bowling revealed that it's just a couple weeks away.

From April 2nd to April 5th, all experience point gains in Xbox Live MW2 matches will be doubled. The event will be held in all territories. MW2's first map pack, the Stimulus Package, arrives on March 30th so you'll all probably be playing anyway.

While this is an Xbox 360-only event, PC and PS3 owners should take this as a sign that they'll get double XP weekends eventually too. Infinity Ward is probably just waiting until the map pack hits those platforms.
