Unicorn Game Studios and 1C Company have unveiled new gameplay footage for the upcoming massive, medieval strategy game, Real Warfare 1242. The video showcases the game’s absolutely humungous battlefield scope and hundreds of fully rendered, 3D soldiers.

Set during the obvious era of the 13th century, Real Warfare sees players commanding large armies set across open battlefields, and pretty much featuring a 3D gameplay mechanic similar to that of Lords of the Realm or Total War. Visually, it’s easily one of the most impressive looking real-time strategy games ever made. The soldiers have amazing amounts of detail for the game to have so many of them on-screen at once.
