Realtime Worlds Ramping Up Marketing And Content For APB

published: 2010-07-07 12:04:42
If there’s one thing most reviewers agreed upon regarding All Points Bulletin, it was that the game had huge potential and was built on an amazing concept. Thankfully, Realtime Worlds has acknowledged the need to stay truly attached to the game in order to see it grow to the mammoth MMO beast that it could potentially become.

With all that said, RTW announced that they’re ramping up efforts and their workforce to ensure that the game is getting as much attention as possible so that new content can be released in a timely fashion and using their marketing prowess to ensure that gamers know that APB is getting some serious fixing.

CEO of Realtime Worlds, Gary Dale, commented in the press release, saying…
“APB experienced a very smooth launch for an online dedicated game along with a great reception from consumers and we’re immensely proud of the game the team has produced. We now have to focus our efforts and resources on running APB as a 24/7 online live operation, creating new content and services for the future and ensuring the best possible experience for the players”.

Added to this, RTW is continuing to recruit to help fix the boiling hot mess that is the gameplay of All Points Bulletin. They’re aiming to transition the post-launch criticism that reviewers dished out on the game into something positive by possibly repairing what many consider to be broken.

Whatever the consensus may be after the updates, marketing and game patches will ultimately determine whether APB will stay in operation. But in regards to RTW addressing these issues post-launch …I say, better late than never.
