Command And Conquer Red Alert 3 Commander's Challenge, an expansion to Red Alert 3, is now available for purchase through Xbox Live. Commander's Challenge, which doesn't require you to own Red Alert 3 to play, adds a new game mode for 800 Microsoft Points ($10).

The titular "Commander's Challenge" is a series of 50 different combat scenarios. To prove your tactical skills, you'll need to show you can handle any sort of battlefield situations, even attacks from giant Soviet bears, pro wrestler Ric Flair, and Japanese school girls. No, really, all that is in the game.

Commander's Challenge will arrive on the PS3 on September 24th. It was already released for the PC as part of the larger expansion called Red Alert 3: Uprising.
