Rockstar released a trailer that explains how living in the west was recreated within the virtual world of Red Dead Redemption, and boy is it one large virtual world. I can’t even fathom how they could do a follow-up game after RD: Redemption given that there really wouldn’t be anything else to cover within that time period, that’s just how much stuff is jam packed into this latest game.

The new trailer explains how the ecosystem (and yes, Redemption actually has an in-depth ecosystem) revolves around the player and the NPCs. Animals prey on each other and prey on the player and in turn players can hunt the game for profit or to acquire new items. It’s really in-depth and totally awesome.
