Rockstar Games sent out a pack of four new screenshots from Wild West shooter Red Dead Redemption today. Things get a bit violent.

We don't know too much about the game's plot, other than the fact that it stars a former outlaw and takes place in the last days of the Wild West. Therefore, we're not really sure why he's about to shoot that guy in the one screenshot or is blowing up a mine in another. Bet he's got good reasons for it, though.

Redemption is expected between January and June 2010.
