Red Faction: Guerrilla developer Volition announced today that the second downloadable content pack for the third-person shooter will arrive on the PS3 and Xbox 360 on September 17th. The Multiplayer Pack adds new maps and modes to the game's online component.

There's eight new maps in all and you can play them on any mode except Siege. Like all multiplayer shooter maps, they've got terse names that barely give away any details: Puncture, Broadside, Compound, Division, Equilibrium, Gradient, Haven, and Remnant. The DLC also brings Bagman and Team Bagman, multiplayer modes that center around grabbing a bag and keeping it for as long as possible.

The Multiplayer Pack will cost 560 Microsoft Points ($7). Volition plans to release a third piece of DLC focused on the Wrecking Crew game mode in the future. Demons of the Badlands, a new single-player campaign, was released on August 13th.
