The multiplayer demo for Volition's Red Faction: Guerrilla is now on Xbox Live. PSN will get it later today.

In the demo, players can sample the Damage Control game mode. In a Damage Control match, two opposing teams destroy enemy targets and then rebuild them. Nine weapons and five backpacks (which give special abilities like a speed boost) from the full game will usable by players.

The multiplayer trial will be available until the game's June 2nd release. Volition previously released a single-player demo for the game. Guerrilla will also be released for the PC but they haven't received either demo thus far.
