Since Resident Evil 5 hit the Xbox 360 and PS3 in March, Capcom has been dodging questions about whether a PC release was also planned. Today they've confirmed that the popular survival horror game will get the mouse and keyboard treatment.
The PC RE5 will have online co-op and also utilize GeForce 3D Vision technology. It'll arrive on the PC "later this year", and in the mean time you'll have two other Capcom games to play. Previously announced PC versions of Bionic Commando and Street Fighter IV are currently slated for July according to the press release.
In March, Capcom VP Christian Svensson noted that "the more people who shy away from that platform, the bigger the opportunity." Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter IV both sold disgustingly well so they can afford to give the PC market a chance.
