Two new trailers have been released for Resident Evil 6 featuring the two main protagonists, Leon Kennedy and Chris Redfield doing what they do best: trying to survive. A word of warning, though, whoever was playing in the trailers activated full retard mode and stood around a lot of times waiting to get hit.
The upside to the gameplay trailers was that they looked like a ton of fun, minus the full-retard player who stood around waiting to get hit. Apparently no one told him about double tapping in Resident Evil games: one shot to the knee cap, one shot to the head. It was the only way to survive some encounters in both Resident Evil 4 and 5.
Still, the horror factors are much more prevalent in both the trailers below than in previous trailers. Check it out for yourself.
The best parts about the Chris video was obviously the hunt for the mirror-camo snake. The idea that it's going around, picking off the team while blending in with the environment is pretty cool. And is it me or did they tone down Chris's steroid use? He looked a little less roided in that video above. Maybe it was just the angle.
Leon's gameplay was pretty cool, too, but man was that video ruined with the guy playing like a tard. Still, the part where the train lights reflect on the wall and you can see the silhouettes of the zombies was absolutely brilliant. The art direction in that scene was pure top notch quality.
At this point in the promotion game, it's still tough to tell how much horror-survival the game will have and how action-oriented it will be. You can look for Resident Evil 6 to release on October 2nd for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. For more info be sure to visit the Official Website.
