A new Japanese prologue trailer was released for Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles. It features all the characters in action and even reveals a very important part of the story and gameplay: gamers finally get to see how Jack Krauser and Leon met.

In Resident Evil 4 there were segments that alluded to the past relationship of Leon Kennedy and the muscle-bound military soldier, Jack Krauser. We never really knew what had happened in the past that created animosity but it definitely left a lot of gamers questioning how the rivalry started between Jack and Leon.

Now despite the trailer being for the Japanese version of Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles it’s actually not really in Japanese. The names are all in English and there is no dialogue so there’s nothing really indicated that it’s a Japanese trailer other than at the very end it says BioHazard instead of Resident Evil.
