Capcom announced today that the cinematic rail-shooter, Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles is currently available for the Nintendo Wii. The arcade-style shooter features multiplayer co-op options, visuals that actually make the Wii look like it deserves to compete in this console generation and enough back-story to finally link together all the confusing loop-holes in the Resident Evil series.

To create a more terrifying and cinematic experience, the camera mimics the first person point of view and at times, zombies surround players so they must rely on each other to advance. Combined with an eerie soundtrack and a new graphics engine utilizing state-of-the-art technology, Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles delivers the most fun and accessible horror game on Wii yet.
