Resistance 2 And Halo 3 Screenshot Comparison

who cares about graphics i am hoping resitance 2 is an amazing game cause i want to get it asap but.. i dont think it will be as balanced as halo 3. i mean halo 3 isnt perfect but u always feel like u can get a come back if ur at a high enough skill lvl. i would love for resitance 2 to be as good as halo i kinda hope it is if anyone can compare the too that owns both an isnt a fan boy of either that would be great.

why the heck do u r2 is good halo 3 is the best game comparing r2 and halo 3. but gears of war i play a lot online , i suck at it though

Ask yourself this Mr. Usher, what was the focus of the creators of these games? To make a game that LOOKS great and plays well? Or, make a game that PLAYS great and looks good? Bungie set out to create a game that had awesome features, has great playability and simply fun to play all around. And at that time, the graphics satisfied its players. May not have awed us, but it wasn't bad by any means in the least. So comparing such a recent game with such an older game, but still popular game, just really isn't that fair. It's like "...Super Mario Bros. 3 has so much better graphics than Pong..." both for their time were epic, but come on...

Now I am an Xbox 360 fanboy, and I think halo 3 doesnt look all that bad, but i gotta say r2 looks remarkable. Its still lacking compared to KZ, but still. I dont think r2 will hold a candle to halo's gameplay; people are still playing halo to this day and enjoying it. I think r2 will be forgotten after half a year or so.

With all the resistance "fans" we have here, this seems to prove that all of the halo fans are playing halo. Personally, I side with the 360 and Halo 3 because, that is what I have. I am a open minded person, and would like to ask one thing. Why aren't you PLAYING resistance? if you are going to support a game, thats fine, but have some dignity! Go play your games! The halo people have no problem with this because of the near-infinite replay value, and the Forge mode which enables endless amounts of time creating custom maps for online useage. Now upon reading this, you might ask "Why aren't you playing it then?" The answer is i'm just curious of the going on's of the internet as of late, and just wanted to tune in on what people are doing in halo related news.

okay this is lame, first they tried to compare GOW2 to R2 now they're trying Halo3 which in my opinion sucked ass i finished it like in 2 days what a crap game. And why compare a game that wasnt even on its fullest potential dexter??

Rakim69 is a tard who can't understand that this is about similarities in the game itself. In other words, William Usher is simply stating that Resistance looks too similar to Halo3, NOT IN GRAPHICS! Oh and if you've played Halo3, you'd know that the pictures are simply a little darker than normal.

What? 360 cant fight ps3 in the long run? then y is the 360 version of gta IV in native 720p and the ps3 version in 640p?

Way to compare a game over a year old (that wasn't even the best the 360 is capable of at the time) to a game that's not even out yet (that's supposed to set a new benchmark for what the PS3 is capable of).

That said, looking forward to playing Resistance 2 on my PS3 and Halo 3: Recon on my 360. :D

i played resistance online for like 5 minutes. I beat the game,and now it's dusty.
still playing gears and halo and cod3. It's all opinion as to which is better.

Renai Kakume, I'd have to disagree with Halo's multiplayer being the only good thing. I've logged more hours on the campaign than I have on the multiplayer. Which I've played a LOT online.

The multiplayer is usually pretty boring, the campaign is the only reason I ever come back.

are you kidding me R2 will die on 3 months i think halo 2 will die 3 days you piss me of $h!t head. resistance 1 up to now there many players playing this game and com on halo3 the graphics its self and its enemy has low quality to compare to R2 even halo 3 will be released in this date they will not beat R2 in terms of graphics but it will be beat in terms of sales you know why cuz xflops has plenty of units compare to ps3 and because xflops released a year ahead or so.. so com on and besides xflops are desperate to go for a price drop this holiday you know why cuz xflops are on the edge of the cliff in a matter of years or months they will fall on.. and lets face it xflops will not be there. cuz i think they will launch an xbox720 because in the long run they cant fight the power of the build for the kill PS3 mabuhay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have to agree with calvin i logged in after not having my ps3 for 5 months when i joined the navy i hopped right on resistance and many people are still playing because its a great game both off and online halo is only good online i spoke with die hard halo fans so i have facts now R2 will be played till ps3 dies when will that be? Never!!!

if halo 3 was released right now it would have better graphics but overall halo 3 is still a better game then R2. R2 wil be dead in 2-5 months, while people are still playing Halo3. lets see if R2 can do that.

Stop the lie right now. Halo 3 on 360 have aliasing issue that we don't see see in your screenshot. It's a 680p. These are not to judge on photoshopped screenshots but on real gameplay thing. And R2 doesn't have the aliasing issue. Sorry you fail

It seems to me this is really a comparison of artistic direction rather than technological prowess. In that regard this comparison is pointless, becuase both games appeal to a different sense of artistic values.

How ridiculous can fanboys get? Comparing R2 with Halo? Who cares?
