In a couple days, Resistance 2 players will be getting both free and premium content. Insomniac Games will release Patch 1.5 and an Aftermath map pack on Thursday, March 26th.

Insomniac told GameSpot in a video interview that Patch 1.5 will add the Meltdown multiplayer mode that appeared in the first Resistance game as well as a challenging new co-op difficulty level called "Superhuman." In addition, the second player in local co-op will now be able to log into their PSN profile and have their XP and information from that session saved.

The Aftermath map pack, meanwhile, adds a few new maps for multiplayer. It'll cost $5.99 to purchase through PSN. If that's enough money for you to spend, you can also buy new skins for $0.99 apiece.
