Sega and tri-Ace recently announced that a new RPG is on its way and it will be a multi-platform title. It’s a completely new IP and boasts to feature an epic story-telling adventure for next-gen platforms…even though the consoles of today are actually current-gen platforms.

For all the naysayers out there, just know that tri-ace are the same talented individuals who brought you the likes of Star Ocean and the recent, critically acclaimed Valkyria Chronicles. So these guys and gals definitely know how to put together an epic RPG.

The game will supposedly feature Hollywood style action sequences, highly stylized visuals and graphics, and bevy selection of customizable weapons and “memorable” characters. To help push this game into further recognition, Sega has unveiled some announcement screenshots to accompany the game. You can check out the screenshots below.
