As if revolutionizing the turn-based tactics of JRPGs wasn’t enough, Tri-Ace has gone one-step further with their upcoming action-oriented RPG, Resonance of Fate, and have implemented detailed customization options for players who like to fiddle with their guns and tamper with their outfits.

The new trailer isn’t too lengthy but provides just enough insight into how the custom options operate. In most games players can purchase new outfits and armor for characters to upgrade stats and whatnot, but in Resonance of Fate every visual change the characters undergo shows up in the game and the cinematic sequences. Nice, eh?

A fully detailed gun-customization feature is also present, allowing players to modify just about every aspect of whatever gun they plan to use. It’s quite extensive, too. This is probably one of the few RPGs actually worth keeping an eye on, as it’s doing something original while advancing on a classic genre.
