Blend Games doesn't write many stories targeting the 65+ demographic but here you go: Harmonix and MTV Games are planning to bring classic rock and roller Roy Orbison's music to Rock Band as downloadable content.
According to the Country Music Television website (via Kotaku), the December 26th episode of Top 20 Countdown will reveal details on "upcoming release of the Roy Orbison Pack for Rock Band 2 consoles."
The name is probably completely foreign to most youngsters who read the site but apparently the dude was huge in the 50's, 60's and 80's. The only Orbison song I can think of off-hand is "Oh, Pretty Woman," featured in that Julia Roberts movie and (more importantly) the "let's get ready for the charity ball" montage in Dumb & Dumber.
The Roy Orbison Track Pack, along with the country music recently released for Rock Band, suggest that Harmonix and MTV are trying to branch out and hit as many rock fans as possible. Not sure how many people who are otherwise uninterested in Rock Band would suddenly buy it because they released three (or however many) songs by "Big O" as DLC, though.
