By now, everyone should know that the PS3 Slim was officially announced by Sony during their press conference at GamesCon 2009 in Germany. Now there is another rumor floating around that Sony plans on unveiling a 250GB PS3 Slim at some point before week's end.

Apparently the announced PS3 Slim went under a fake name ("Computer Entertainment System"). Its manufacturer was listed as “Sand Dollar Enterprises, Inc.” with the address of 919 East Hillsdale Boulevard, Foster City, CA. which actually is a registered address of Sony Computer Entertainment of America. Test documents revealed a second SKU number of CECH-2001B that came with a hard drive of 250GB for the console.



When the PS3 Slim was announced yesterday at Sony's press conference, only a 120GB version was unveiled, which will retail at $299 in the U.S.
