Lots of talk has been emanating throughout the press circuit about Assassin’s Creed 2. And why shouldn’t it? The original game rocked socks with its puppeteer controls and a rara avis art-style. Gamers and journalists have been speculating about the sequel, but Ubisoft has already confirmed that an Assassin’s Creed 2 is coming.

Destructoid posted an e-mail that supposedly holds verity toward the validity of a time-zone and other details regarding Assassin’s Creed 2. TheGameReviews.com took things a step further by indicating that the game could be showing as soon as this year’s E3 event.

While it may be speculation, there’s been plenty of hints dropped on the game from Ubisoft – mainly with Altair’s quasi-appearance in Prince of Persia, as well as with the hint Ubisoft let loose regarding adding swimming skills for Altair. So what does this mean? It means that if Altair can swim, then players may have to kill fish in Assassin’s Creed 2…possibly big fish.
