Rumor: Brutal Legend Coming To Wii

Double Fine Productions is currently working to bring Brutal Legend to the PS3 and Xbox 360. Those aren't the only platforms the heavy metal action-adventure will grace, though.

Variety, citing "several good sources" states that publisher EA is currently planning a Wii version as well. An unnamed studio, not Double Fine, is handling the development of it. No other details were provided.

EA would not comment on Variety's story which means that if Brutal Legend's really in development for the Wii, it's probably in its early stages. Too early, perhaps, to see it released alongside the 360 and PS3 versions in the third quarter of 2009.
