We’re all anticipating seeing the trailers and screenshots of games we already know about from E3. But what about games to play this week. Microsoft has their “Bringing it Home” initiative, which kicked off early this morning with the Too Human demo. Give it a try if you haven’t already. But there’s rumor that this week could see the release of an Arcade title that, for me at least, is the most anticipated of them all right behind Street Fighter II Hyper Ultra HD Redux Part 17.

Joystiq is reporting that they’ve heard rumblings of more info on Geometry Wars 2, the sequel to the fantastic dual stick shooter that launched XBLA. What kind of info? According to their source the gaming blog is saying that Microsoft could be bringing the game to us as early as end of keynote today. Which means we could be playing the trippy sequel sooner than expected.

The most impressive factor, if this is true, is that until right before E3 we had little to no idea this could be a possibility. Sure, we’ve known the game was coming but not so soon. Then again, it wasn’t on the mega rumor list before so who knows how accurate the source is. We may simply get some new screens and a brief onstage demo. Keep your thumbs primed for the possibility of destroying geometric shapes.
