Despite rumors that the demo for Mirror's Edge would be available in September, it seems we'll have to wait much longer than that. How's early November sound?

According to the product page for Mirror's Edge on Gamestop, the demo will be coming out on November 6th. Why is Gamestop announcing the release date of the demo? Well, as previously reported, players who pre-order the game through select retailers will get a code to access a special Time Trial mode in the demo.

Mirror's Edge is arriving in stores on November 11th so so you're really not getting much time to try out the demo or that fancy Time Trial mode. Kind of blunts the pre-order bonus, doesn't it? No official word from EA on this yet so who knows. Retailers have been wrong in the past with dates.
