Rumor Smash: No PC Version of Force Unleashed Planned

Well, that was quick. The rumor circulating this morning that a PC version of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is on the way was promptly shot down by a representative of LucasArts. The PC? Snubbed as a gaming platform? Yes, I was skeptical, too.
"I can tell you definitively that there is no PC version of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed planned," a PR rep told Blue's News. A statement from LucasArts does seem pretty definitive, though the source of the initial rumor was fairly credible: Vik Sohal, COO of Pixelux Entertainment, the company who designed the game's physics engine. I mean, I guess he'd be in the know on that sort of thing, wouldn't he? Guess not. PC owners can take comfort in the fact that if they own any other gaming platform - I'm serious, ANY other game platform - they'll be able to play Force Unleashed in some form. It will be released for PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox 360, iPhone, mobile phone, Nintendo DS, N-Gage, and PlayStation Portable on September 16th. Or you can uh, make Wookiee look-alikes in Spore. Update: Fixed to make the sarcasm shine through a bit more in the last paragraph.
