Move over iPhone, Sony wants their piece of the gaming phone action. Rumors are swirling once again that Sony will begin developing their own "PSPhone" as early as next month.
According to Japan's Nikkei business daily (via Reuters), Sony will soon begin development on a "cellphone-game gear hybrid". Starting in July, a team will attempt to "develop a new product that combines functions of its portable game player and Sony Ericsson's mobile phones."
Rumors of a Sony gaming phone have been around for a few years so take this news with a grain of salt. Still, maybe these rumors will actually materialize this time.
