Focus Home Interactive has released a handful of new screenshots for their upcoming adventure game for the DS. Now, unlike a ton of other Nintendo DS games out there that look like absolute crap (and let’s be honest, a lot of them look like crap) Runaway: A Twist of Fate actually looks quite nice for Nintendo’s handheld system.

The game is the final within the trilogy of Runaway titles featuring Brian and his girlfriend Gina. It’s a little weird because the game promises to have a happy ending but all the screenshots and trailer seem to lean toward the opposite side of that saying. This is especially evident with the much darker overtones depicted within the story.
