Adventure fans aren’t completely out of luck when it comes to mature humor and thought-provoking puzzles in a big-budget animated adventure. Focus Home Interactive’s Runaway: A Twist of Fate is the final game in the series that offers up dark comedy in a large scale story that takes the hero and his girlfriend on their final adventure.

To help further promote the game a couple of new screenshots have been released and the game is looking rather fine thanks to that new game engine it’s running on.

The story is a little darker and a little more sinister than past games, and the fact that the lead character is in prison garbs seem to be indication enough of that. Nevertheless, the graphics look as good as ever and for this to be the final Runaway tale featuring Brian and Gina it looks like FHI is going all out.
