Replay Studios’ upcoming title from Gamecock about the real life hero, Violette Szabo, has gone from generic Sabatoge to luxurious Velvet Assassin. A simple change of the name has elevated this game in my mind form run-of-the-mill crap fest that might have been interesting into something worth keeping an eye on. It’s funny how titles can have that power.

Velvet Assassin follows the exlploits of British Agent, Violette Szabo, who went behind Nazi lines to fight against the Third Reich. Indiana Jones may have done it with pizzazz, but this woman fought the Nazis for real. Cool action sequences and killing Nazis is a winning combo, no matter how you look at it.

“I have to say, the Replay crew have outdone themselves by making Violette into one of the best looking stealth-killers ever. This game has come so far since last year that Sabotage just didn’t do the game justice – Velvet Assassin sums up every aspect that makes this game great,” said Tim Hesse, Executive Producer at Gamecock in a statement on Friday.
