Saint's Row 2 Ultor Exposed DLC Unveiled

Volition has revealed the first of three planned downloadable content packs for sandbox action game Saint's Row 2. The Ultor Exposed DLC will add new story missions as well as numerous extras.

The three new missions will center around exposing the horrible experiments being performed by the Ultor Corporation, the mammoth company with a stranglehold over the city of Stilwater. Porn star Tera Patrick (who previously cut one or two commercials for SR2) will appear in the missions as an ex-Ultor microbiologist who decides to join up with the Third Street Saints. In the Eurogamer interview announcing the DLC, Volition's James Torbit points out that Patrick actually majored in microbiology in college (which probably runs counter to your expectations).

In addition to the three new missions, Ultor Exposed will also add four new multiplayer maps and a Co-op Competitive mode. The Co-op Competitive mode should sound familiar to World at War fans; players compete to rack up the most kills/mayhem in a mission and are penalized for killing each other. The player in the lead at the end of a Co-op Competitive mission will receive a cash reward. New vehicles and customization options for your character (such as an alien suit) are included in the DLC as well.

Ultor Exposed will be released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 on April 16th. It's priced at 800 Microsoft Points ($10). There was no mention of whether the PC version will receive it as well.
