Sam & Max Save the World, the first season of episodic games featuring the dog and rabbity-thing crime fighters Sam and Max, will finally hit Xbox Live Arcade next week. Telltale Games has dated the XBLA release for June 17th.

Save the World contains six episodes of point-and-click adventuring and will cost 1600 Microsoft Points ($20). It was previously released as Sam & Max Season One for the PC. The XBLA version will add Achievements as well as HD and widescreen support.

Season Two, now known as Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space, will be released through Live in the coming months.
