Due out this fall exclusively for the Xbox 360 (simply because PS3 owners got BlazBlue so I’m guessing SNK wanted to even the playing field with a 360 exclusive) the newest Samurai Shodown game will take players through a 3D fighting tournament featuring classic Samurai Shodown characters. To elaborate on the options present within the game, Ignition and SNK have released a new character trailer featuring all the playable the warriors in the game.

Series’ favorites such as Genjuro, Haohmaru, Galford and Charlotte are all joined by the rest of the cast in this 3D fighting game. Now, the trailer below is fairly clean-cut (no pun intended) but considering that people are still getting hacked-and-slashed it was put behind an age-gate. But realistically, the trailer is safe for all audiences...unless, of course, you have a phobia of samurais.

Samurai Shodown: Edge of Destiny will also feature multiplayer modes via Xbox Live, so we’ll keep you posted on any updates regarding these features.
