Samurai Warriors 2: Empires For PS2 And Xbox 360 Armors Up In GoldAuthor: William Usher

When a game goes gold, it’s in its final stages of release. It means that all the code is finished and there’s nothing else left to program. Samurai Warriors 2: Empires has reached that milestone, and the official release date is etched in stone and headed to the PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360 on February 28th.
Unlike a certain other game that became famous for re-enacted war with “giant crabs”, Samurai Warriors 2 focuses gamers’ task on re-uniting the 25 regions of Japan. No giant crabs, no long-legged aliens, just Samurai Warriors. Being that it’s made by Koei, you can easily expect that the game will run pretty much on par like Koei’s other top-notch franchise, Dynasty Warriors. Tack on a two-player coop, 400 playable characters, and a create-your-own-warrior mode and you’ve got a stinking good reason to buy Dynasty...I mean...Samurai Warriors 2. Yeah so all of Koei games do look alike, can you blame me? Anyway, the Xbox 460 version will support televisions that feature 720p/1080i/1080p high-definition. You can look for Samurai Warriors 2: Empires to hit retailer shelves for the suggested price of $39.99 for the PS2 and $49.99 for the Xbox 360. |
