Secrets Of Mysterious Island Launches For iPod Touch/iPhone

Even though Jules Vernes’ Return to Mysterious Island just launched earlier this year for PC, Mac and iPhones, Chillingo and Tetraedge Games announced that the sequel has just become available for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
According to the press release… For approximately 700 Mb, the player will find out the end of the adventure of Mina, a sailor who finds herself stranded on the shores of a wild and apparently uninhabited island somewhere in the South Pacific. Jules Verne’s “Secrets of The Mysterious Island ” contains stunning 3D graphics, many ambient sounds, music designed to enhance the mysterious atmosphere and feel.The game also sports up to 15 hours of gameplay; two characters to play with varying gameplay mechanics for each character; special 3.0 features that allow players to navigate either using the screen or the in-game compass and accelerometer for 360 degree rotation and tons of puzzles and logical puzzles to overcome. Sounds like the perfect adventure game for on-the-go gamers, eh? I’m just curious how they managed to make the game so quickly after Return of Mysterious Island, though.
